Switchback TV is for Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, NVIDIA Shield, and Mi Box. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Apple TV, and Roku are not supported.

Coming 4th quarter 2026 There is no public download yet. A private beta comes first. The public release is the fourth quarter of 2026.

How it will install

On a Fire TV or Android TV, with the free Downloader app — type a short code and it installs.
Or copy the file to a USB drive and open it on the TV.
Then add your own M3U playlist or provider login. You can type it on your phone instead of the remote.

What you’ll need

An Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, NVIDIA Shield, or Mi Box.
Your own M3U playlist or provider login, from a service you subscribe to. Switchback TV does not come with channels.
Optional: a free TMDB key for movie posters, ratings, and trailers.
